Racquetball News
Come join the Chaminade Racquetball Team. Forming Middle School & High School Teams.
– Racquetball is a winter sport (November to February) open to all grade levels and experience levels.
– Try for FREE before you commit by coming to any practice.
– Teams must be formed by the week of Oct. 15. Thus, practices began in September.
– Students involved in a fall sport are welcome to join after their fall sport finishes but must commit to playing by October 15th.
– We play in the Missouri High School Racquetball Association League (MOHSRA) (https://www.mohsrball.com/ ).
– Teams play a 10-match schedule and 2 to 3 weekend tournaments.
– League fees are $200 per student, due by October 20th. Checks are to be made out to “Chaminade” and turned into Mr. McMenamy.
– Practices are held twice per week, M & W from 3:30-5:00 pm, at the Jewish Community Center in Creve Coeur (2 Millstone Campus Dr, St. Louis, MO 63146).
– To practice at the JCC, students must obtain a student membership. Call Tracy Edwards at (314) 442-3181 to set up the membership.
– Equipment needed: a good racquetball racquet, a pair of non-marking court shoes, and a pair of regulation racquetball safety goggles. Optional but very helpful, a racquetball glove.
